We borrowed Ken's minivan and drove Benjamin, Jonathan and Tahanni to the mountain. Geoff and Ben were the skiers and Marlene, Jonathan and Tahanni were the snow boarders.
We took the Greyhound to visit Marlene's brother Ken and his family. The ride was very picturesque. We also passed three accidents on the way up -- I'm glad we didn't drive.
The gorgeous view from the back of Geoff's work. This is NOT Photoshop either, the mountains were dusted with snow and the sky was the purest blue! This is spectacular!
Here is the view of the street in Kits, where Mike lives (he works with Geoff). He took these fab shots of our first snowfall in December 2006. We had so much snow, many schools were closed -- yes, we don't know what to do when we get snow!
All my stuff is hand made stitch by painful stitch (by me), this is why each one is so unique. The yarn I use is a blend of acrylics and wool. All made in Canada or Turkey. The amigurumis can be surface washed with a soapy cloth, and if absolutely necessary can be hand washed in cold water. Happy cuddling!
