Cleaning Leather Mephisto Sandals

Cleaning Product for leather footbed: Woly Sport Cleaning Shampoo $18.95 CDN (Quick Cobbler). Says "Ideal for athletic footwear made of leather, fabric or synthetic material as well as light synthetic shoes." Product made in Germany.
Leather Care: Lexol Leather Conditioner $11.95 CDN (Quick Cobbler). Says "Softens leather, prevents cracking. Lexol protects old and new leather from cracking and premature aging by providing the lubrication necessary to keep it strong and supple. It is made w/ the finest tanning oils which are emulsified into microscopic droplets. The oil droplets bond to the leather fibers, nourishing the leather and leaving no greasy residue. Use regularly to keep your leather looking and performing its best."
I have not used this on the footbed, but I guess it could work.
Once I washed and let my Mephisto sandals air dry for maaaaaany days, I sealed the outsides of the cork parts with rubber cement (this is what was recommended to me by the Quick Cobbler). I know that sounds odd, but the cork has to be completely sealed from moisture or it will allow water through it and it will disintegrate, dry out and need replacing (which I have had done). The Quick Cobbler added bits of cork to the chipped out parts of cork. Only cost me $20 to repair the missing chunks of fallen out cork.
