The Perfect Dog

Special Tribute from Geoff:
My brother Randy's dog Lady died the past week. She was 16 years old. Lady was a warm, gentle, friendly dog and everyone loved her. Our family has many beautiful memories of her. This is my favourite picture of Lady and Marlene — they were the best of friends.

First Day of Sun in November 2005

It is the first day of sun in November! Wow -- I've forgotten what colour "sky blue" is. There is now snow on the mountains in the background -- what a gorgeous day. Geoff was sure excited to see the sun! It was about 9 degrees Celcius today.

Amber's 1 Month Baby Party

Here we are at my Emily Carr friend's (Lilli's) new born daughter, Amber's, one-month baby party. Traditional Chinese tend to throw a one-month baby party for their baby. I'm not sure if it's only for the first born or not, but it usually happens when the baby turns one month old. There is a 10+ course dinner at a Chinese restaurant -- we really pigged out!
